Based on the pictures you sent I believe you have the Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow 4-Way Flat to 7-Way RV Trailer Adapter w/ 4-Way Vehicle End Plug # HM47180.

It is not recommended to attach this to your 1993 Toyota T100 4X4 pickup without the bumper. If you don't do the installation completely then you won't have the weight capacity of 5,000 lbs maximum gross trailer weight and 500 lbs maximum tongue weight. You will need to test the wires on your 1997 Toyota T100 to determine the functions since they are not the common wire colors we are familiar with for Toyota brake controller wiring harnesses.
Use a circuit tester such as # 3808 to test the wires. The wire that has constant 12 volt power will connect to the controller black wire. The wire that only has power when you step on the brake pedal will connect to the controller red wire.

The installation of a 4-flat connector such as the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118496 in your 1995 Toyota T100 is a very simple and straightforward process; it only requires plugging in the T-connectors at the taillight wiring harness. It looks like you are following the instructions for the Tacoma which are different than those for the 1996 T100. On the T100 the tail light connectors you are looking for are under the truck near the end of the frame, both sides. view full answer...
